So for the sixth activity in the Summer Break Reading Challenge I'm posting about my top literary crushes! Yes, yes they're fictional and all that...Oh well.
1. Ty (Stolen - Lucy Christopher)
Yes, I know he's bad and kidnappy so technically a major criminal but I can't help it. He's hot, he's tanned, he's sensitive - even if he does like to abduct girls from time to time and imprison them in the outback. Plus, he's really nice to animals as well. And he has strong hands. Like he could put up a shelf and sweep you off your feet. Swoon.
2. Toby (The Sky is Everywhere - Jandy Nelson)
Okay, so I'm guessing most people would probably pick Joe over Toby for this but Toby is so vulnerable and confused that I couldn't help but be drawn to him. Something about vulnerable guys just makes them more attractive, yes? No?
3. Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries - L. J. Smith)
I'll admit it - this is mainly because of the gorgeous Ian Somerhalder in the TV show but Damon Salvatore is a complete hottie. And a bad boy. Which makes him even more of a hottie.
4. Daniel Grigori (Fallen/Torment - Lauren Kate)
Daniel's stereotypical good looks do help to make him a major literary crush but it's his romance and devotion to Luce that really makes him irresistable. Who doesn't want to fall in love with a fallen angel who has devoted his life to finding his one and only love again and again...and again.
5. Noel (The Boyfriend List/The Boy Book - E. Lockhart)
I know I'm 22 and Noel is just a high school kid but there's something about him that's really attractive. He's cute, he's funny and he's aloof enough to be mysterious without being a 'leper' (Ruby's words). In a sea of forgettable main leads in an unfathomable number of books about cute boys at high school, Noel is the one that I remember and go back to time and time again.
