Teaser Tuesdays: Twenty Boy Summer - Sarah Ockler

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

My pick for this week is Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler. I'm only near the beginning of this one but I'm loving it so far so look out for my review some time this week.



Teaser sentences (from page 40): 'After fifteen minutes of hunting and gathering, Frankie emerges from the racks with two armloads of try-ons. A broken fingernail and a slight breathlessness are her only battle scars.'

  9. Oh, shopping. A broken fingernail sounds kind of intense, though. I'm not usually that involved in my shopping (but maybe I'm just not serious enough about it?). Nice teaser!
